Take pictures from the ground
Your phone is enough. Every side of the house, the yard, and anything that came off it. Do it before the cleanup starts, because the cleanup erases the evidence.

Cover the hole. Do not repair it yet
A tarp and a bucket are fine and they do not hurt anything. Permanent repairs you did not agree to in writing are a different story.

Sign nothing you do not understand
A form handed to you in the driveway is still a contract. Read it, or hand it to somebody local who will read it with you before you sign.

Alex LaFleur.
Alex started Manifest in 2018. Before roofing it was houses, buying them and gutting them and putting them back together. Roofing was the part he was best at, so it became the business.
Fifteen years of leadership across construction and service. Crews he trains himself. Enough drone hours over Acadiana roofs that he would rather show you the damage than describe it to you.
He built this company on word of mouth, one roof and one neighbor at a time. That is a slow way to build a business, and a hard way to fake one.
